9 ways to stay Positive in Life
I've been off-the-track past week, life was good, but something was missing, I did not know what that something was. Nothing felt right, I was irritated and most of the times at my wits' end. I was ready to pick a fight with any and everybody. I could not handle anybody's presence around me. I just wanted to be left alone. After living for almost 4 days like that, I decided to do something about it. I could not live like that and that was so not me.
What did I do? I made a list of things that make me feel happy. And gradually, brought myself out of that phase.
I am sure all of us go through such phases in life and forget about the little things that can help us get out of that phase instantly. So, I just compiled a list of things that can keep the positivism and the enthusiasm alive, here it goes:
1. Make a 'To-Do' List: I know it might sound obvious, but not able to complete things on time, brings in a sense of disappointment and underachievement. It's good to make a 'To-Do' list everyday in the morning and strike out things that you complete. Completing tasks on time keeps you motivated to move ahead in life.
2. Daily dose of Motivation: Yes, you need to be motivated daily to keep the passion going. It happens with everyone, one time motivation wears off in our daily activities. An easy way to stay motivated is to read some kind of positive thoughts daily. Or buy a 365 positive thoughts kinda thing for your desk and read it daily.
3. Read: It's always good and relaxing to read a book. Reading has now become easier, you can read on your laptops, tabs and even phones. You can read fiction or have a favorite book that you keep going back to. People who are not fond of reading can opt for a movie instead.
4. Listen to good music: Make a separate list of songs that make you feel good. So, whenever its that kinda time, just turn on the music and you'll feel better.
5. Build a Sleep Cycle: It is very important to have a fixed sleep cycle, to sleep and wake up at the same time everyday. It relaxes your body and mind, and makes you feel fresh.
6. Wake up Early: I know your Mom tells you this probably every single day, but trust me, it works. Rushing to work everyday can leave you dissatisfied. Instead, wake up early, get ready for work and eat your breakfast, don't just gulp it down.
7. Practice yoga/exercise: Staying fit is another good way to keep yourself motivated. Get up and exercise, don't just laze around. Also, yoga is known to develop satisfaction and peace in your life.
8. Slow Down: Even if its for a day, leave those gadgets and iphones alone. Yes, the technology is helping us in a lot of ways but its also taking the peace away from our life. Try to live without them for at least a day.
9. Don't be too harsh on yourself: Sometimes, it is perfectly alright to make mistakes or not be able to do certain things. Do not punish yourself for it. Take it easy and learn to accept your mistakes

Butterflies on my Shirt! - Day 12
Note: This post was to be published on Saturday. Then, work kept me busy and it got delayed. The good news is that I am still on with the challenge. I manage to take pictures daily, the posts get delayed somehow!
I love butterflies! Be it jewelry, bags or well, shirts! I am fond quirky prints and chunky jewelry. That's what defines my look here (the shirt and the chain link necklace). So, you may have understood by now that this outfit was planned around the butterfly shirt. Different sizes of butterflies, the blue and white color combination, everything about this shirt is just fascinating. Below are the pictures of what I wore to work on Saturday:
Outfit Details:
Shirt: One of my Flea market finds
Necklace: Gift
Shoes: Lajpat Nagar

Colored Denims | Day 11
I have nothing much to say today. Let's move straight to the outfit. Simple, laid back and very me! Well, there was no thought put into this except for putting the colors together. I wore the black vest to add some structure to the slouchy shirt and that was it. I also added an owl pendant later, therefore, its not visible in the pictures below:
Shirt | Vest : Sarojini Nagar
Shoes: Rubi Shoes
Trousers : Customised
