Statement Necklaces 101

Jewelry has come long way! From dainty subtle pieces to bold statement pieces. Although, a statement necklace is my favorite accessory, pairing statement necklaces with your outfit can be quite a task at times. If worn right, statement necklaces can take your look from drab to fab in a jiffy. It's a quick fix for all the lazy girls (me being one of them). So, here I'll be sharing some tips on how to style statement pieces.

1. If the necklace is multi colored, try to pair it against any pastel or white outfit and the necklace do the talking.

2. Pair it with a collared shirt and let the necklace play peek-a-boo! 

3. Pair the necklace with contrasting colors for maximum effect. 

4. If you're confused about the other accessories to pair with necklaces. Keep it understated and neutral and let the necklace be the focus of your outfit.

5. Keep experimenting and come up with your own fun way to wear these babies.

Laid Back Monday..... You wish!

So, yeah monday comes every week! Although, I love my job but getting up early in the morning is so not my thing (and, it will never be!) and it's tougher on monday because you're still surrounded by that laid back vibe. Therefore, I try and dress colorful to work on mondays (yes, I am even allowed to wear neon to work), which keeps me going through the day!

Other way's to get through monday:
#Listen to loud music on the way to work.
#Stretch your yoga sessions (It relieves stress, right?)
#Like me, dress colorfully to work.
#Last and the best, take an off ! (why go to work at all ;) )

And I turned 24!

Not all girls have problem confessing their age and I am one of them. In fact, I always wondered why girls don't reveal their real age? Anyhow! It was my birthday last week and I had lots of fun on the day. A fun mani (that I did myself, by the way), lots of wishes and heaps of chocolates made my day. I had so much chocolate that I am not having chocolates for at least one week. :P

How are you all? I know, I always say I'll be blogging more often and then, I disappear. So, no words this time!!! 

And now I can publish posts directly from my phone which means now I can write posts on the go. I have loads of free time while commuting to work (the other day, I finished half of my day's work while travelling. The advantages of being a content creator :D )
